The Story
“No Nunsense” is a satirical comedy about a group of badass Nuns who have turned their convent into a crime ring in order to combat the recent rise of Neo-Nazis, rogue orphans, and other nogoodnik-ery. It’s The Sound of Music directed by Quentin Tarantino. It’s Guy Ritchie’s Sister Act. It’s equal parts irreverence and social relevance. It’s as violent as it is goofy, as cool as it is silly, it’s feminine and feminist, all at the same time.
They’re nuns with guns. And they’re coming for you.

The Team
Hailey Kathler and Heath Affolter are a comedy duo who live and work (and sleep, and well, you know, everything) in Vancouver, BC. Hailey is an accomplished storyboard artist with experience in both 2D and 3D. She’s boarded for popular shows such as “Super Monsters,” “Polly Pocket,” “Ready, Jet, Go!” and the Netflix feature “Bob’s Broken Sleigh.” Heath is an award-winning writer and director, most recently writing for the hit Netflix sci-fi series “Travelers.” He has experience in both live-action and animation, including being on the production team for the “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” TV series. In 2018, “Soggy Flakes,” the short film Heath wrote, directed and produced along with his three brothers, was nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards (which are basically what would happen if the Oscars and Emmys had a love-child that moved to Canada).
When they’re not chained to their desks, Hailey and Heath enjoy going to the dentist, being waterboarded, and discussing the wise decisions President Trump made that day… Just kidding, they hate all of those things. But they love watching cartoons and asking the important questions, like “What do you think Nicolas Cage is doing right now?” Answer: He’s barfing.
Heath is on the left, Hailey is on the right. Wait...
